Can I try before paying?
Yes — your first 7 days are completely free with full Pro access. If you don't want to continue, just cancel before Day 8 and you won't be charged.
What's the difference between free and paid?
You get one demo conversation during onboarding to try the app. After that, a subscription unlocks daily practice energy (+5 per day, never expires), all scenario packs, voice mode with delivery scoring, connection insights, characters who remember you, and leaderboards.
Can I switch between plans?
Absolutely. You can upgrade from weekly to annual anytime (with prorated refund). Downgrade from annual to weekly at renewal. No lock-in, no contracts.
Why is voice mode required?
Small talk is a spoken skill, and the only way to get better at it is to practise speaking. The slight awkwardness of talking out loud — even to an AI — is exactly what trains your brain to respond naturally in real life. Voice mode also gives you delivery scoring (pace, pauses, fillers) that text can't provide.
